The African Rainbow is made of wood and has its rays embroidered by hand with combed cotton ropes and pompoms made, also by hand, with cotton rope. It is handmade in Paulownia wood. The piece is made of a single piece of wood measuring 30cm x 18cm X 2cm, to which pompoms made with macrame cotton rope have been added. The back is uncovered so that you can appreciate the technique and finish. And it is protected with a thin layer of varnish so that the threads never move out of place The varnish used is water-based and no chemical product has been used, either during or after its processing.
