Bird embroidered cross stitch on wood. Handcrafted, the Robbin painting is made of a single piece of wood, with a central diamond-shaped recess, where the cross stitch embroidery rests with cotton thread. The piece measures 22cm x 16cm and is very light due to the characteristics of the wood used, known as Paulownia. The varnish used is water-based and no chemical product has been used, either during or after its processing. It has a cotton rope and side brass anchors to be hung. The back is uncovered so that you can appreciate the technique and finish. And it is protected with a thin layer of varnish so that the threads never move out of place.
