Minestrone is a dish that varies depending on the region and season and comes in many variations, making it impossible to define its recipe unambiguously. According to the one we have chosen for our loyal friends, to the classic assortment of vegetables and greens, we add a touch of Tuscan flair through barley, an ancient and tasty grain, and the special and intense aroma of thyme. The product is excellent even as it is, just heated; alternatively, we recommend adding some water and boiling some pasta or rice in it. As a final touch, we suggest a drizzle of raw olive oil and perhaps a sprinkle of Parmesan.
