The Mini Pixie Paradise was our first design. We created this to add some fun and joy to the gardens. All our doors are handcrafted using only premium red cedar. Cedar is the only wood that can withstand the elements untreated. However, we use an exterior finish to protect the colour from fading over time. The Paradise mushroom frame has been painted a distressed beige with a red cap. Each little door has been hand painted with acrylic paints. In this case, the colour matches the frame in a distressed beige. The hardware we choose is either zinc based, copper or bronze. These metals tend to age nicely over time, adding character to the door. A keyhole has been cut into the back of the door to hang from a screw or nail.
