Decorative accessory with a distinct Mediterranean character, the botijo is ideal for cooling water in a natural and ecological way. Made from our own local clay, it has the right porosity to breathe and cool the water to an optimal temperature. For use, we recommend placing a dish under the piece to collect the water that seeps out. Each piece is handmade and unique, so you will find imperfections and marks. The traces of artisanal work are perceptible in each piece. The measurements and color shown are indicative and may vary due to the production process. Before you start drinking from the botijo we recommend rinsing the piece inside and out. Fill it with water and empty it the next day. Its exterior should be cleaned regularly with a scouring pad and without soap. Replacement is recommended when a considerable loss of porosity and breathability is noticed.
