Our Sacha Inchi oil is made from 100% Sacha Inchi nuts and is gently cold pressed. The oil should be stored dry and can therefore be kept for several months. From opening the bottle, we recommend using the oil within 4 weeks. The oil is ideal for preparing cold and hot dishes, but can also be taken pure as a vegan source of omega 3. During the entire manufacturing process, we take care to act ecologically and socially fair. Sacha Inchi oil grows in agroforestry systems and only grows in symbiosis with the rainforest in Peru. In this way, we actively preserve the tree population and create important habitat for the animal and plant world in the Amazon region of San Martin, Peru. The mostly indigenous farmers receive fair pay and good working conditions through cultivation! In Germany, the oil is bottled by social institutions and shipped CO2-neutral.
