I was on a serious Gregory Alan Isakov kick during the time that this was created, hence the title (a lyric in his song “Dark, Dark, Dark”). The sight of a shimmering milky way, only visible in modern times in wild places like this far off desert mesa, is certainly something worth singing about. These views seem to be getting harder and harder to find.
