This piece depicts a scene in Northern California’s Feather River Canyon, near Paradise. The title is a play on the novel "Watership Down", where rabbits leave their home in search of a new one. The residents here, including my family, had to do the same after a wildfire destroyed the surrounding towns in 2018.
