The maturation of whiskey in Spanish sherry casks has a long tradition. And for good reason: The barrels — pre-filled with Pedro Ximénez or Oloroso sherry, for example — give the single malts additional complexity and exciting spicy and fruity aromas. Our single sherry cask is stored in ex-Oloroso sherry casks for the complete maturation. These make the whiskey particularly soft and gentle and also give it light fruit tones. Our whiskey is not cold filtered to express the full flavor. Appearance: Golden yellow Odour: Mild and soft. Pleasant scent of raisins combined with light bitter almond tones.
