"Enjoy our all-natural, raw and unfiltered Sourwood honey from North Georgia mountains. This great honey has won four top honors as ""Best Honey in the World. As a true mono-floral honey, Sourwood is highly resistant to crystallizing. Raw sourwood honey’s flavor is rich and full, with notes of caramel along with warm tastes of cloves and anise spices. The honey’s color is light amber with a golden tint. Its texture has a smooth, caramel buttery quality. The honey is not sour, as the sour name comes from the leaves. It’s normally light–mid amber in color. Each July, the North American Sourwood trees are covered with attractive clusters of small, white flowers. These blossoms are highly fragrant and attractive to honeybees. Summer rains may impact annual supply, price and availability. Built by Bees uses this same sourwood honey in our Specialty Food Association’s sofi Gold award winning Sourwood Balsamic Honey Vinegar. While we’re biased, we think this honey makes everything better.

I was looking for local honey for my store and like other small business owners, very fussy about what I offer in my store. I couldn't decide and then came across Built by Bees. Product and info looked amazing and the ABOUT page was the clincher, sounded like the perfect fit. Shipping was fast and received them this morning and they are on my shelves now. Labels are simple, enticing and straight to the point. My family and I will be trying these out tonight.
