Our Story, Uncommon Bees Uncommon Bees didn’t start as a business, it started as a response. Nearly a decade ago, we saw pollinators declining and knew we had to do something. What began as a few backyard hives in Houston quickly grew into a deeper purpose, one rooted in responsibility, respect, and a commitment to doing things the right way. From day one, we made a promise: We take nothing from the hive it doesn’t have to give. Our bees come first. Always. Today, from our homestead in deep East Texas, we craft raw and infused honeys, beeswax goods, and wellness products using only what our hives sustainably provide. Every product is made in small batches, never rushed, never cut, and always handled with care, from our hands to your home. Over the years, we’ve grown, but our values haven’t changed. We believe in purity, quality, and protecting the bees that make it all possible. And we believe in community. We call you our Beeple, because you’re part of this journey with us. I bought this beeswax, because beeswax is supposed to be flexible. I had bought other brand for the same price and is true beeswax. But, this one is just not 100% beeswax. It has a smell like chemicals. And when it breaks when it's cold. And the color of the candles are just ugly.

Our wax is 100% beeswax, harvested and processed from our hives. Being a natural product, it can handle and smell different from batch to batch. I’m sorry you ordered the wrong wax, you did request to change it after we had already shipped it. If you would have paid for shipping we would have gladly exchange it. If you would have contacted us with this issue we would have gladly worked with you to resolve it.
