Mulungu powder - anxiety stress sleep gaba & cns support* the petz kitchen™ - organic human grade ingredients for home prepared meals & treats Mulungu is a tropical tree that grows in the wetland marshes of the amazonian rain forests and river banks of the amazon river and is known for its beautiful coral flowers, sometimes referred to as a coral tree. The bark and root of mulungu is widely used in south american traditional medical systems as a natural sedative and anxiolytic (anxiety reliever) due to its novel adaptogen flavonoids, triterpenes, alkaloids and antioxidant content on gaba neurotransmission and to help address conditional needs related to stress, anxiety and an over excited central nervous system.

We were eager to find and carry this in our store. The packaging is a little disappointing. The bags don't have hangers or holes, and they don't stand on their own. We used a hole punch to hang them on our merchandise racks. While it may seem obvious that they are turmeric, the packaging lacks an actual "Ingredients" label/listing. Some customers have wondered if it's 100% turmeric or what else is in it.
