500g of bulky boucle goodness! Available in2 gorgeous shades of grey/brown that are the natural colour of the Masham sheep so they have not been dyed or treated. These hefty hanks are the perfect amount for a throw blanket, vest, rug, multiple hats, or even a full length sweater for smaller sizes. The other beautiful thing about a hefty hank is no ends to weave in when you add in a new ball. These have been irresistible displayed in a basket at in-person markets we have done. Reminder: These are hanks not balls, so your customers will need to wind the hank into a ball before knitting/using. The Masham sheep is a cross between the Teeswater (or Wensleydale) and Northern Hill (Swaledale or Dalesbred). Masham originated in Northern England, and have a particular love for the hills. The Masham sheep is noted for its motherly instincts and longevity as a sheep. Its wool is recognized as being soft and having a long fleece, at a 33.5-35 micron. Perfect for making.
