Description
Cleistocactus Straussii, also known as Silver Torch or Wooly Torch is native to mountain ranges in South America. This fuzzy looking cactus makes a perfect plant for a windowsill or with friends in a dish garden. Recommendations for growing success: Light: Direct sunlight, a windowsill makes a good home Water: In late spring to summer months water thoroughly with tepid water when soil dries out, water more sparingly in the winter Repotting: Repot every year in the spring when the plant is young, only increase pot size slightly Ceramic pot not included. As a customer, I want to note that I read the review that was posted, and out of the hundreds of plants ordered from them, and the last 5 orders placed via faire, that incident sounds like the outlier. I have never once had an issue with them and I have well over a few hundred personal plants from them (via etsy) and just received a pallet of plants delivered, and they arrived beautifully! I hope you will give them another chance, they really are one of the best out there.

Our shipment arrived with dead, rotten plants. The packing peanuts were a mess and did nothing to help the plants during transport. Plants arrived unpotted, scattered throughout the boxes, damaged beyond repair, and ultimately will end up in the trash. There is no way we could use the product we received. Unboxing these plants made a huge mess due to improper packaging. They will need more time to figure out their process and I will not be purchasing again. Highly disappointed.
