This easy going fern features deep green leaves with a reddish tint. Mahogany ferns does best with filtered or indirect light. Direct sunlight and low humidity can lead to browning tips. Botanical Name: Didymochlaena truncatula. Thrives in indirect medium sunlight. This plant will arrive in a plastic growers pot with drainage holes. Pot color may vary. Decorative pots not included. I have worked with Thoresen's for about a year, around the time I started my business in NE Indiana. They have always been very helpful when I have questions about the plants or shipping times. The plants are packed very well and they add heat packs in the winter without an additional charge. I highly recommend them for your plant (and planty) purchases!
