Consistency:  Since the pure CO2 extract is very strong smelling, thick, and sticky, we have diluted it in a jojoba oil (80% jojoba / 20% calendula).  This makes it easier to work with. Aromatherapy Properties:  While its scent can be too strong for many essential oil blending, Calendula is considered highly useful for a variety of skin issues.   Suggested Use: Calendula can be a beneficial ingredient in facial creams, salves, and sensitive skin body care products. History:  Flower extractions have been used for a long time in Europe for various skin ailments. Specific Safety Information:  Not for internal use.  Even though we have diluted the calendula extract to 20%, dilute more with topical use.  Avoid if you have allergies to plants in the Asteraceae family, such as ragweed.  Consult your doctor if you have any questions before use.
