This year’s crop in particular has benefited from a perfect balance of rain and sunshine, resulting in a rich flavor profile with notes of cherry, plum, and red wine. Sourcing Philosophy: We source specialty coffee beans directly from small holder farmers through long-term partnerships built on ensuring fair and livable wages to the farm workers who do the hard work of picking the coffee. Our premium coffee beans are fresh roasted in Brooklyn using a small batch roasted coffee approach that highlights the character of each single origin coffee. We want to support this business' product and philosophy, but had no idea it was date stamped a short 3 months from arrival. Disappointed that fact was never mentioned in the purchase, and seriously hope it won't become a mark down. They did offer to accept the products return, but it really should not have to come to that. Transparency is key.
