Our mustard journey began in a pop-up kitchen in Toronto's Little Italy in 2008. Back then we just made one mustard. It looked and tasted a lot like this one: Caplansky's Deli Old Fashioned Mustard. We call it the "caviar of mustards" because its kind of fancy even if we aren't. Old Fashioned Mustard is the perfect accompaniment for charcuterie boards, as a sandwich schmear, salad dressing base or marinade. Caplansky's Deli Old Fashioned Mustard is seasoned with Celery Seed. It imparts a flavour the Japanese call "umami". We promise you've never tasted anything like it. All natural, with no additives or preservatives, this classic whole grain mustard has amazing mouth feel. Enjoy the pop of the yellow and brown seeds. Every jar sold feeds a kid through No Kid Hungry and our participation in ChefsCycle. So schmear away! It tastes great and feels good too. Handmade in small batches by Toronto's own Caplansky's Deli.
