Serafino Zani manufactures his pots at the company in Lumezzane, Brescia, using only high quality stainless steel. Steel is used in all components and details, and is always applied in generous thicknesses that guarantee constant heat distribution and deformability over time. The pot is equipped with the special thermo diffuser base patented by Tarcisio Zani - USA patent 4204607 - composed of a pure aluminum core 'imprisoned' inside a double stainless steel bottom. The use of this bottom allows an optimal distribution of heat over the body of the pot with a minimum expenditure of energy, and the possibility of using the tools on gas, electric plate, glass ceramic and induction.
