Wholesale Collioure bookmarks — Catalan boats

Illustrated bookmark depicting the traditional Catalan boats in the port of Collioure, hand-drawn by Marie Troff. The Catalan boats, with their triangular lateen sail and colorful hull, brought prosperity to the fishermen of Collioure in the 19th and 20th centuries. Today, a few can still be seen moored along the Quai de l'Amirauté, restored and maintained by local associations. I sketched one on a morning in April, before the tourists arrived. Slim vertical format, to slip into a novel, a travel guide, or an art book about the Côte Vermeille. The finishing ribbon stays securely in place and does not mark the paper.
