About Hues of Summer

Hues of Summer is a Colorado-based art and lifestyle brand founded by husband and wife Riva and Ben. The name says it all. We live life one summer at a time. Adventures get planned for summer. Big projects wait for summer. Trips happen in summer. And somewhere along the way, we realized we didn't want to spend the other nine months just waiting for it. So we set out to bottle that feeling. The warmth, the color, the sense that anything is possible. We make things that carry it into everyday life, no matter the season. Our products are rooted in travel. We've always been drawn to the way a place has its own light, its own palette, its own personality. That shows up in everything we make. Each collection is built around a destination, from the canals of Amsterdam to the coast of Greece, drawn by hand and designed by Riva. We make tea towels, tote bags, aprons, greeting cards, postcards, and more. Everything is hand-drawn, ethically sourced, and made to be used, not just admired. Hues of Summer launched in 2024, but it's been a long time coming. Years of travel and building toward something we believed in.
