About Kristina O'Brien Photography

Starting as a young child, I was always the one with a small camera in my hands. The bucket list dream of becoming a professional photographer felt a million miles away in a home that could not afford professional gear, or photography classes. Years later when we learned we were expecting our first child, my husband surprised me with a DSLR - my first real camera. I was so angry with him for spending the money, but quickly decided that since it had been spent, I should learn how to use it. And so began the actuality of my bucket list dream. Sixteen years later, I have had the honor of photographing weddings, engagements, events, newborns, and families. Today my business focuses on the family side, and also the beauty of the world around me. As the sun dips at the end of my family sessions, magic is made through my lens as I capture the end of day light, rolling waves, and so much more. From notecards, to bookmarks, fine art prints, and more, I'm so excited to share this side of my photography world with you and your customers.
