Description
A treat for Japanese tea lovers! Gyokuro (pronounced yo-cuhr-oh) is one of the most expensive teas in Japan. Before harvesting, tea bushes are shaded for several weeks using bamboo tarps. Due to reduced sunlight, tealeaves develop incredible concentrations of nutrients and the amino acid L-theanine, which is said to act as a mood enhancer and is responsible for tea’s relaxing effects.

Shipping time was phenomenal! But, that aside - the packaging is beautiful and the testers are so cute and such a great way to let people get a whiff! Amazing variety of teas to choose from - some I haven't been able to find in organic before! I am already looking to order more based of some samples I got for myself to try! (Vintage Pu-erh!!!!) Won't be disappointed.
