How do I apply a promo code to my order?

Some brands can create custom promo codes that they can personally share with their retailers to apply to their order with that brand on Faire. Each promo code can be used one time, on a single order.

Only one promo code can be applied to an order at a time. However, promo codes can stack with other shop-wide promotions, product-specific promotions that the brand is running at the same time, and any Faire-funded promotions that your order qualifies for.


Where do I add a promo code to my order from the Faire website?

Brand promo codes can be applied at checkout using your desktop, laptop, or mobile browser.

. To add a promo code to your order:

  1. Go to your cart and proceed to checkout.
  2. Under the Order summary, find the field labeled Promo code.
  3. Enter your code and select Apply.
  4. If accepted, the discount will appear both in the order summary and below the promo code field.
  5. To remove a promo code, select Remove next to the listed code.

Where do I add a promo code to my order from the Faire mobile app?

Brand promo codes can be applied at checkout in the mobile app. To add a promo code to your order:

  1. Go to your cart and proceed to checkout.
  2. Under the Review your order section, find the field labeled Promo code.
  3. Enter your code and select Apply.
  4. If accepted, the discount will appear within the Review your order section, and below the Promo code field.
  5. To remove a promo code, select Remove next to the listed code.

Why wasn’t the promo code applied to my order?

When a promo code is unable to be applied to your order, you will see an error message explaining the reason why the code is invalid.

Some reasons why a promo code may not apply successfully include:

  • Promo code has expired
  • Promo code includes a typo
  • Promo code has already been applied to a previous order
  • The order subtotal does not qualify for the promo code promotion

If you experience an error when applying a valid promo code to your order, please reach out to the brand directly using Faire Messenger. Since brands create promo codes from their Faire account, they will be the best resource to contact as a first step to troubleshoot. If for some reason your order with the brand’s promo code applied is canceled and needs to be replaced, the promo code can be reapplied as long as the promo code is not expired and your order total qualifies for the promotion.


What should I do if I forgot to apply the promo code at checkout?

If you forgot to use the code, we recommend reaching out to the brand through Faire Messenger as soon as possible so they can assist you with making edits to your order. Brands are able to add promotions to orders if they haven’t been shipped yet.
