Rachel est architecte diplômée. Elle a travaillé dans la pratique pendant plusieurs années avant de se lancer dans l'illustration après avoir été présélectionnée pour le prix Serco d'illustration en 2014. Depuis, son travail a été présenté dans diverses publications, dont le guide officiel de Tower Bridge, et est vendu dans une sélection de galeries indépendantes. L'expérience de Rachel en architecture a influencé son style artistique et ses sujets. Son style audacieux et minimaliste cherche à réduire un sujet à son essence et à accentuer la simplicité d'une forme. Rachel a illustré The Boat Race pour une exposition sur l'histoire de l'aviron à Putney. C'est ce qui a éveillé son intérêt pour ce sport. Par la suite, ses illustrations d'aviron lui ont valu plusieurs commandes importantes, notamment l'affiche officielle de la Henley Royal Regatta 2019 et l'illustration officielle de The Boat Race 2022 et 2023. Son œuvre, « The Victors and The Vanquished », a été sélectionnée pour les World Illustration Awards 2020.
