Bringing together more than 200 women, DOUM FOR WOMEN is a women’s basketry cooperative whose mission is to integrate rural women from the Douar Touggana, located 20 km from the city center of Marrakech. Our main goal is to help these women to be financially independent by providing them with a stable income within an ideal work environment. It is in 2019, in Marrakech, that we created our rural basketry cooperative DOUM FOR WOMEN. DOUM evokes the palm leaf, at the heart of our collections, pruned and woven by women artisans.
