Katiopa was the name of Africa in the Kingdom of Kongo before colonialism. Through our brand, we would like to change the narrative and tell the real stories of this amazing continent. Through modern, delicate, and chic jewelry, we want to tell the story of various African cultures such as Ashanti, Akan, Bamileke, Ewe, Masai, and others by reinterpreting ancestral shapes and symbols and highlighting traditional skills and craftsmanship. By wearing a Cher Katiopae piece of jewelry, you contribute to preserving centuries-old heritages and traditions. Our creations are designed and assembled in London by us. The bronze and brass pieces are made by artisans from Ghana, Côte d'Ivoire, and Kenya.
