The spirits raised in the woods of Rio ! TIJUCA is a new brand of spirits that markets blends of rums and cachaças from Brazil under different demanding and innovative approaches. Tijuca was created by a French couple, in love with Brazil and rum, who took a group of relatives on the adventure. Inspired by the traditions of the Bordeaux vineyards from which our brand originated, TIJUCA has adapted local blending techniques to sugar cane distillates in order to create innovative products made from Brazilian cachaças. At TIJUCA we love the idea of living in harmony with the elements, while looking to the future. Our approach is imaginative with the greatest respect for the land, for the women and men of the magnificent region of Rio de Janeiro where our products are born. Advocating a fair approach, TIJUCA has built sincere and lasting relationships with its local producers and is committed to taking environmental issues into account in order to contribute to the rescue of the Mata Atlântica, the Brazilian coastal forest where the Tijuca forest is located. For each bottle sold, Tijuca replants a tree in collaboration with a small community in the north of the state of Rio de Janeiro. TIJUCA carries with it the love of Brazil, the land par excellence of sugar cane which has all the assets to become a new source in the world of rum.
