This is our 100% pure Tung nut oil mixed 50/50 with Pure Citrus Solvent to create a traditional Tung Oil Finish without the added driers like other "Tung Oil Finishes" on the market today. We use the highest quality Tung Oil available; drying harder and forming a more durable surface finish than Linseed Oil alone. Tung Oil has been used for centuries for its protective and hard finish on wood. The solvent is the carrier to help the oil penetrate quicker and deeper into the surface of your timbers. This has been used historically for natural floor finishing due to the hardness of the surface once the Tung Oil is dry. This looks similar to our Original Finish or Concentrated Oil but without the added benefit of the Wax, Rosin, and Linseed Oil. This is a very traditional finish and is the best hand-rubbed, building up coats to produce a tough yet natural-looking surface. 100% Bio-based. Food-safe once dry. Dries to a matte sheen.
