Description
A metal heart contains a smaller one that in turn, holds a decorative bell. Perched on the top frame, sits a pair of feather detailed birds. The hanging windchime decoration has a mounting chain and is completed by 7 bells on the bottom edge; the largest in the center. 30 x 2 x 28cm. Wrought iron. Handmade in Northern India by a family business that provides valued full time employment to 19 people and over 60 artisans on a piecework self-employed basis. Good benefits include fair pay, sick pay, and regular hours. The business supports fee free schools for poorer families.

This is stunning but I underestimated how big it is to display! There is a downside — every time I go near it, I seem to pick up lots of loose, multi-colored threads of cotton; it’s a downside but it doesn't take away from how gorgeous this is!
