Whitney Siegel, the founder of Blackberry Hill began combining her background in research and product innovation, and her love of crafting natural products for her family, into an official brand after learning she was a BRCA gene carrier. Not long after, she faced down a double mastectomy among a series of other set backs, and decided she wanted to help others, whether with soothing tallow soaps and balms for others going through their own painful cancer journeys, or helping with skin conditions such as eczema.
