I started doggish in 2018 as a project to help rescue dogs in Columbus, OH. doggish accessories are still handmade by me, in my Columbus home studio. Because I personally handmake each product sold here, I am unable to accept order cancellations. Doggish accessories inspire joy in the human-dog relationship through seasonal and socially conscious designs. Something about dressing up our dogs sparks joy! We get excited, take pictures, and share those memories. And our dogs feel that joy! My dogs (who did not choose the model life), get so excited when they see me holding a bandana. They know it means treats, and so much praise while they’re wearing it! Through doggish, I share that excitement with even more dogs and humans. Doggish is committed to anti-racist and radically inclusive worlds-making. I never profit off of social justice designs. Doggish is loyal to its beginnings as a rescue project, and continues to style adoptable dogs and fundraise for non-profits in Ohio, including rescues, LQBTQIA2S organizations, and reproductive justice.
