About Almla Active
We're a Top Shop on Faire with 1000+ studios nationwide carrying our socks. Founded by best friends, Almla is a women-owned, BIPOC-owned brand created in honor of our roots. "Alma" means soul in Spanish, "amla" means gooseberry in Hindi, and ama means mother in both cultures in honor of our mothers who are no longer with us. Almla Active grip socks are designed for the bare foot. They are made with OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified materials that are independently tested for skin safety and free from heavy metals, phthalates, and harmful chemicals. With absolutely ZERO polyester, we use a breathable, absorbent cotton blend that feels better on skin and supports natural performance through movement. From targeted arch support to durable PVC grip technology, every detail is thoughtfully designed to deliver controlled, confident movement while prioritizing comfort, safety, and performance in every pair.
