Our products are made from natural raffia and other renewable sustainable raw materials using traditional energy saving techniques. Each of our products is uniquely handcrafted by women artisans in a fair trade family environment who earns fair wages for their work in a safe healthy working condition. We believe that promoting the work of these skilled artisans contributes towards their economic development, supports the conservation of the environment and preserving their natural environment for their future generations. Purchasing our products helps provide food, education, housing, and healthcare for our artisans and their families, it also reduce poverty and improve the quality of life within their communities. Madagascar is one of the poorest countries in the world and children lack an adequate educational system. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of these products is donated to the Ankizy fund, whose main goal is to build schools and clinics in remote areas for Malagasy children.Read their story
