A unique art doll inspired by a childhood memory. Do you remember the paper dolls we used to cut out and assemble with brads? A few years back I was inspired to create a textile version of this doll- delicately assembled from various machine embroidered parts. Each doll's head and shoulders are stitched in metallic gold, crimson red, and dark brown embroidery threads. She gets embroidered, turned and hand stuffed with cotton- then is pressed flat and embellished with a hand smocked cloth skirt. **Please keep in mind- this doll is a decor item, intended only for wall art purposes. Due to fragility and removable parts, this is not a toy suitable for an infant or child.
