This beautiful handmade ribbon in Charcoal is a medium deep grey color that's perfect for cool toned floral arrangements or gift wrapping. It's made of 100% silk and has a lovely drape. Available in both chiffon and habotai, chiffon is more matte and translucent while habotai is smoother and more lustrous. This ribbon comes in a 5 yard spool and is shown in habotai. At our Detroit studio, we craft each ribbon by hand using 100% silk that's hand torn, plant dyed, and rolled onto wooden spools. The plant dyes we use create deep and complex shades that subtly change with the light. Although the same recipe is used for each batch, no two ribbons will be identical in color. The result is an organic color and lightly textured ribbon that adds romantic and delicate beauty to any use. Our ribbons are carefully steamed and hand-rolled onto wooden spools before shipping. If your ribbon becomes wrinkled, you can use a hair straightener or a low-heat iron to gently press it.
