Our handmade Deep Indigo silk ribbon is crafted using natural indigo, resulting in a complex and unique color. Each indigo vat produces slightly different shades and creates beautiful marbling. Made from 100% silk, this ribbon boasts a lovely drape and is available in both chiffon (more matte and translucent) and habotai (more smooth and lustrous). Our ribbons are hand torn, plant dyed, and rolled onto wooden spools with intention and care in our Detroit studio. They make a perfect addition to floral arrangements, hair adornments, paper goods, or gift wrapping. Plant dyes create deep and complex shades that subtly change with the light. Although the same recipe is used for each batch, no two ribbons will be identical in color. Our organic and lightly textured ribbon adds a romantic and delicate touch to any occasion. To care for your ribbon, simply use a hair straightener or low heat iron to gently press.
