Our 23 ha of vineyards are planted in south-facing hillsides, 360 meters above sea level, in the middle of oak forests, which gives the wines a natural freshness. They are cultivated in organic farming (certified by ECOCERT) and agroforestry in order to preserve this exceptional biodiversity and the expression of our terroir (“one of the most expressive terroirs in Visan” for the oenogeologist Georges TRUC). It is not for nothing that the cadastre of 1582 reveals that vines already existed in the “district of Coste Chaude”. Our vines, whose average age is over 40 years, are grouped around the winery, which helps to avoid the oxidation of the grapes during transport. Artisan-winemaker my role is to accompany nature in order to reveal the expression of the terroir and grape varieties to produce fresh, fruity, complex wines and preserve the balance between concentration and finesse, thanks to the control of yields, a manual sorting of the harvest, a careful selection of plots, gentle extractions and a long aging.
