About Cuantica

Cuantica is a design studio based in Stockholm that counts things and presents them beautifully. Our posters are made in museum-quality, giclée-printed in a matte finish on archival, acid-free paper. We started Cuantica because our son asked about the hottest place on Earth, and we together looked for information and data and more information and data. Finally, we collected so much info that we thought we had to do something beautiful with that info and data. The curiosity about the hottest place on Earth led us to the rainiest one and to want to know more about the air temperature here and there. So we started counting things (data), we put it together beautifully, and now we make prints so you can enjoy with us the beauty of the data visualisation. Fran and Lupe develop ideas for new prints, research, and look for the more appropriate colour pallet for every print and theme. We show data but try to keep the concept of evoking something beyond the information.Read their story
