About Aubrey Holman Art

My name is Aubrey Holman and I'm a singer/songwriter / performing musician and (most recently) an artist from Greenville Mississippi. Up until a year or two ago, I would have never dreamed I would be painting anything worthy of anyone's gratitude. I've tried to paint from time to time, to no avail, and my drawing skills are ok but not fantastic. My wife is an art major and she recently bought me a set of paints, canvases, brushes, and a few vintage art instruction books. She asked me to paint a few things for her to sell in her/our store. For some reason, I just caught on this time and I have been painting ever since. I'm very personal and I like to include a short story to add to every print that I mail out. Each print will have a slip of paper and a signature with the story of how, when, why, or where I painted it. Sometimes the story is better than the painting itself! I haven't been painting long enough to be an art snob so my style may be a bit all over the place. If you have a subject in mind for me to paint please let me know.
