Who We Are: Two Leaves and a Bud is an independent tea company from Colorado whose mission is to deliver the perfect cup of tea for every person from every culture. We were founded in 2004 by Richard Rosenfeld, who discovered a passion for great tea on his frequent trips to Asia. It became his mission to share that passion. About Our Tea: We’re notoriously picky about our tea, so we pluck only the freshest and tenderest part of the plant — the top two leaves and the bud. We sample each and every harvest to select and blend the very best teas – those balanced in sweetness and astringency, intensity and brightness. We skip artificial additives to focus on a rich, real tea experience. We make this quality tea accessible in all formats tea lovers enjoy – whole leaf tea sachets, loose leaf, traditional teabags, iced tea, and tea lattes.
