About Honey Smitten

Like most great things, Honey Smitten began as a love affair, when our founder Cristie, followed her passion in supporting beekeepers, and fell in love with the bees, honey jars, and honey sticks while working at the world-famous Minnesota State Fair. Year after year, the fair’s “Beehive” honey booth attracts swarms of honey lovers, in an annual pilgrimage that almost always includes handfuls of honey sticks in a range of playfully delicious flavors. After a summer of working at the Beehive with her husband David, the love for honey and supporting beekeepers became a shared passion and it greatly intensified. They wanted to bring that kind of honey love to the rest of the world, so Honey Smitten Honey Sticks were born. This fun and healthy treat is impossible to resist.
