About TDP Specialties

TDP Specialties is a small family owned business that sells specialty food products. We started on Amazon, not so much in food, but in sports supplements. The amazon world of supplments in the 2010's was the wild west. Anything went, there were few rules or enforcements, we introduced many new brands to the market that were never sold before in ecommerce. During the pandemic of 2020, we spotted the need for food operations that shipped quickly and could manage logistics quickly and efficiently. We partnered with an Italian food distributor during the pandemic, aiding them in moving their product when all of the restaurants were closed, and in doing so, gained a huge amount of insight into how the food ecommerce world works. We got better and better at packaging, perishable goods management, customer relations, weight to value balancing, juggling complicated orders from many different suppliers. Eventually we moved into importing, starting in Colombia, and moving to San Salvador, El Salvador. Our first big break with with a hot sauce company in Santa Ana, El Salvador which was a hit. What we find as the real value is actually talking to vendors and customers, providing great customer service, and being a part of your success, not just slapping labels on boxes and blindly moving product. Our most proud moments are when small restaurants and stores buy from us something that was hard to get, at a great price, and get great value from it. How can we help you to win? Read their story
