About Ker-ij Jewelry
The original definition of courage (ker-ij) means to tell the story of who you are with your whole heart. Ker-ij Jewelry focuses on modern, minimal designs with a combination of brass and gemstones to create handcrafted jewelry that is striking and affordable. Clean lines, patterned gemstones and silky snake chains are a signature to the designs with the hope that each wearer feels confident and courageous to tell their story with Ker-ij . I'm Stacey Jo Rabiger, I am the maker and designer behind Ker-ij Jewelry based out of Salt Lake City, UT. A creative, crafter and rock nerd from childhood, Ker-ij Jewelry was created in 2011 when a pair of hand-me-down tools fortuitously met with my collection of gems. Ker-ij lived as a small side hobby for many years until the brand's name Ker-ij truly gained meaning. In 2014 with the sudden onset of Rheumatoid Arthritis my hands were left completely debilitated for nearly a year. Faced with an unknown future I kicked myself for never having the courage to take the leap and fully pursue my craft and business while I still had functioning hands. Once I was able to find treatment, I hit the ground running. I was determined to create a body of work that encompassed my heart and passion and support my independence. I had finally found my courage and I like to think each piece in my collection carries a bit of my own gutsy determination with it into the world.

I have reordered several times! This is one of the rare jewelry lines that appeals to all age groups. Very essential in our environment. Unique and fresh designs. Great quality and price point. Love them!

We ordered necklaces and the pieces used to create the pieces didn't match. Some pieces were brass, others bright gold or copper colored. The extensions didn't match the clasp or the chains, which didn't match the pendants. (But the earrings we ordered and everything was expected.) It made the necklaces look cheap and tarnished. We notified the brand and we were told this was standard and we wouldn't be able to get them replaced/exchanged. Will not buy from this brand again.

This order was disputed and reviewed by Faire after several products were marked as missing or damaged, which Faire confirmed was not the case, as the pieces were shipped in full and as described. All components are raw brass, and because brass is an alloy, the tone can naturally vary depending on the copper content.
