At the Hauck winery, the Hauck family and their team have dedicated themselves to wine with heart, hand, and mind, to create authentic wines with individual character in their daily work. The grapevines grow on clay and loess-rich soils interspersed with limestone in the heart of Rheinhessen, at quite airy heights of up to 262m above sea level. Here, wines with fruit and minerality, with balance and finesse, are created. A focus is on the classic white Burgundy grape varieties such as Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc, complemented by Silvaner and Riesling. Curiosity and a spirit of experimentation also lead to the cultivation of exotic varieties like Auxerrois or Albariño. For the red grape varieties, the focus is on Pinot Noir, St. Laurent, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon.Read their story
