At the same time they learned about the health supporting characteristics of Holy Basil, also known as Tulsi. They shared a deep wish to bring these health-supporting herbs to the world by partnering with farmers to: -Recover traditional agricultural wisdom -Begin the environmental regeneration of thousands of acres of farmland and forest -Establish a new business model based on responsible economic, social, and environmental principles and fair trade-based farmer partnerships The result of that vision has been the economic and cultural revitalization of rural farm communities with 3,000 farm partnerships as well as community health care, education, and inclusive social change for women. ORGANIC INDIA’s tea infusions and whole herb supplements are rooted in Ayurveda, the ancient health system of India.
