About Retro Sorrento
Maria Vallese is the illustrator and artist behind the brand Retro Sorrento. Maria founded Retro Sorrento in 2009 combining her illustration work with her illustrated and handmade home products. Her work is known to be color-saturated and pulls inspiration from Mid-Century home design and pop-culture. She's also known for her funky illustrations of landmark buildings throughout Upstate NY and the country. Maria is a 2010 RIT graduate with a BFA in illustration. She has created work for brands like Saranac Brewery, Annie's Homegrown and more.
