Hearth & Hammer literary candles are hand poured in Batavia, IL, a small town outside of Chicago nestled in the Fox River Valley. Since the beginning our products have been built on the values of wanting our products to be sourced from the USA and made by hand. Our candles are made from all natural domestically sourced soy wax, cotton braided lead-free wicks, and fragranced with high-quality fragrance and essential oil blends. Our candles are phthalate-free, preservative-free, additive-free, cruelty-free, vegan, and ethically produced. We are here to answer any of your questions. Please feel free to message us. My bookstore customers love, love, love these candles, and our sell-through rate goes gangbusters when we fire up a tester, which are genius—now the candles that we sell/burn have also become the signature scents of the store, so a win-win for all;) To boot, Ariane has been an absolute delight to work with and has been incredibly responsive! I adore this brand and the humans behind it!

We have been stocking this brand for several years, and it consistently sells for us! We've tried pretty much all of the available sizes, styles (including the adorable mini "coal" candles around the holidays for stocking stuffers) and we haven't had any misses. The bookish packaging is perfect for our store. The scents feel upscale and complex, nothing too sweet. I've also purchased a few to take home myself, and the throw is really good.

We've been carrying H&H for years now. We LOVE the scents and love the people. The tins are great giftable sizes and the candles last a long time. I bring a new one home for myself every few months! H&H is also fantastic to work with and they ship fairly quickly.
