About Charlito's Cocina
Charlito’s Cocina is a serious cured meat maker, one who doesn’t take itself too seriously, crafting premium salumi with an ancient, transformative process to facilitate meaningful human connections. We are a New York born and bred producer of small batch charcuterie. Our products are inspired by the transformative powers of salt, air flow, temperature, humidity, and time, powers that are celebrated in cultures around the world. With the right combination of these elements, we take a highly perishable ingredient- raw meat- and, by leaving it in the temperature/humidity zone where it’s most prone to perishing, make it do the opposite, not only preserving it indefinitely, but elevating its value and making it delicious. Additionally, Charlito’s Cocina is inspired the cultural mosaic of New York City; the way people come from all over the world and, with their respective life experiences, complement one another to create something new and beautiful. We exist to make people feel good, to offer a vehicle for coming together, and for eating well. We celebrate thinking differently, keeping things interesting, and elevating charcuterie assortments by creating products that are made with sustainably sourced raw materials, transparent ingredient statements, and old school technique. We’re not trying to reinvent the wheel. We’re just trying to help keep it structurally sound, so that it keeps on turning.

We have been ordering for a couple years now, and our guests love that we are able to offer sliced options as well as whole salamis. We are in an area with a lot of outdoor activity (hiking, skiing, camping, fishing, etc) and having sliced meats they can stop and enjoy while out on adventures has kept them coming back for more! The spreadable hoguera is also a big hit!

I’ve rekindled my love of Charlito’s lately, don’t know why I needed a reminder that this line is really a cut above others, especially in the pre-sliced salami game. The slices are thin and luxurious and the flavors are so well balanced. Happy to receive personal service and fast shipping here on faire.

We love Charlito's the Truffa Seca is one of the best truffled salamis I have ever had and the mild chorizo sticks sell really well at our POS. Quality is top notch and the pricing for "grab and go" items helps them sell well. 10 out of 10! I'm eating one right now :)
