Why am I receiving emails from a brand?
We provide brands with email marketing tools to help them send Faire-related announcements (such as sales, new arrivals, or holiday promotions).
These tools do not give the brand access to your email address—we will never give this detail out for your privacy. To send you an email campaign through Faire, a brand must have either received an order from you, or already had your email address on a contact list.
How do I opt out of receiving emails from a brand?
To opt out of emails from an individual brand:
- Go to your Email preferences
- Select Emails from brands
- Toggle the setting to off next to the brand name you’d like to unsubscribe from
If you’d like to opt out of receiving emails from all brands, you can select Opt out of all emails from brands via Faire at the bottom of the page.
Why am I still receiving emails after I unsubscribed?
If you unsubscribe from an email, or make an adjustment to your email preferences, you may still receive emails that were queued to be sent prior to the update. We recommend allowing 24 hours after unsubscribing for emails to stop.
Who can update email preferences?
Faire marketing emails are sent to the login Account email address. Only the user of the Account email address can update email preferences.
If the Account email address user wants to stop receiving marketing emails, there are two options:
-
Opt out of marketing emails
- This can be done in Email Preferences under Settings.
-
Change the account login Account email
- If the Account email address user no longer wants to receive emails at the current email address, they can update their login email.
What should I do if I’m not receiving Faire emails?
If you're not seeing Faire notifications in your inbox, try these steps:
- Check your account email: Make sure you're logged into the account with the correct email address. Notifications are only sent to the email listed under your account settings.
- Look in spam and junk folders: Sometimes emails may be filtered. Mark Faire emails as Not Spam to ensure they’re able to be delivered to your inbox.
- Review your Email preferences: Go to Settings and select Email Preferences and confirm your notification toggles are turned on.
- Check for multiple accounts: If you're trying to update your email address and receive an error that the email is already in use, it means that another account is using that email. You’ll need to use a different email address.
- Email provider issues: Some email providers may block emails from certain senders. Check with your email provider to ensure that Faire emails aren’t being blocked.
